The first cohort graduation rate will be released on Wednesday, Feb. 28, as part of the State Board of Education’s monthly meeting.
This presentation is expected to be at 1:15 p.m. in the Education Building, 7th Floor Board Room, 301 N. Wilmington St., Raleigh.
The cohort graduation rate will provide a measure of how many students who entered ninth grade in 2002-03 graduated by June 20, 2006.
In addition to the presentation of the graduation rate, Board members also will receive a presentation on strategies to address high school graduation rate issues by Vann Langston, executive director, Triangle High Five.
