The Clean Water Management Trust Fund awarded the City of Henderson $429,000 for sewer rehabilitation last week.
The money will be used to repair infrastructure to prevent spills of raw sewage in the Sandy Creek Basin.
The city is currently under a state order of consent regarding problems with spills of sewage from its waste water management system.
