There will be a special meeting of the Henderson City Council on Wednesday, January 30, 2008 at 5:00 p.m. at City Hall.
According to a notification provided by Henderson City Clerk Dianne White, part of the meeting will be held in closed session.
According to the notice, the closed session is in accordance with NCGS § 143-318.11(a)(3) regarding a lawsuit and NCGS § regarding the acquisition of property.
NCGS § 143-318.11(a)(3) generally protects public bodies as they exercise attorney-client privilege. 143-318.11(a)(5) is invoked when a public body does not wish to reveal proposed prices in property or contract negotiations.
