Chief K. L. Sidwell of the Henderson Police Department reported yesterday that members of the Henderson Police Department’s Narcotics Unit, Criminal Investigations Division, and the Highway Traffic Safety Unit conducted a search warrant on the business Big Kats.
Big Kats is located at 212 Dabney Drive in Henderson.
The search warrant was executed after several citizen complaints of sales of counterfeit merchandise coming from the business.
The counterfeit merchandise included CDs, DVDs, sunglasses, and designer pocket books. Also seized during the search warrant were computers and electronic equipment used to further the counterfeit enterprise located at the business.
The individual listed below was charged and placed in Vance County Jail:

Charges: Possession of counterfeit recording, possession of counterfeit video, possession of counterfeit reproduction items
Court date: February 16, 2009
The investigation is continuing and more arrests are pending.
