HPD makes arrest in Subway milk theft


On May 30, 2009, at 5:30 a.m., members of the Henderson Police Department responded to a report of a burglar alarm at Subway located at 1400 N. Garnett St.

Upon arrival, officers located a glass window that had been broken out. Several containers of milk had been taken from the business.

After searching the area, officers located a suspect on Old Norlina Road.

After further investigation. Andrew Lee Perry, Jr. of 416 Harriett Street was arrested and charged with breaking and entering and larceny.

Perry was placed in the Vance County Jail under a $10,000 bond pending a June 8, 2009 court appearance.
