HPD makes arrest for heroin

Henderson Police Chief K.L. Sidwell reported that members of the Henderson Police Department’s Narcotics Unit performed a vehicle stop on Raleigh Road.

During the investigation, the driver was detained and a consent search was performed. The consent search of the driver and vehicle resulted in the seizure of a quantity of heroin.

The individual listed below has an extensive criminal history, including convictions for three counts of trafficking in cocaine, possession of a firearm by felon, maintaining a dwelling for a controlled substance, receiving or possession of a firearm, and robbery with a dangerous weapon.

The suspect below was charged and placed in the Vance County Jail. The investigation is continuing and more arrests are pending.
