More charges filed against burglary suspect


Update: On January 25th, 2010 members of the Henderson Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division charged Freddaire Hargrove with breaking and entering, felony larceny, and injury to real property in relation to the breaking and entering to the residence of 200 Wester Avene in Henderson, North Carolina on August 27, 2009.

Evidence found at the crime scene linked Hargrove to the crime.

Hargrove received a $50,000 secured bond and remains in the Vance County Jail pending a court date of February 8, 2010.

The arrest stemmed from an arrest by the Henderson Police Department earlier this month:

On January 21, 2010 around 7:34 a.m., officers with the Henderson Police Department’s Patrol Division apprehended Freddaire Hargrove, 20, of 507 Hillside Avenue in Henderson, North Carolina.

Hargrove was arrested after officers received a tip from an anonymous caller to 911. The caller stated they saw a black male break into a residence at 657 Charles Street in Henderson. Upon arrival, officers saw the subject running down Cherry Street removing items of clothing. After a short foot chase by officers, Hargrove was apprehended.

The suspect was charged with felony breaking and entering and was given a secured bond of $10,000. Hargrove remains in the Vance County Jail pending a court date of February 8, 2010.
