On February 10, 2010, a Henderson resident reported being assaulted and robbed.
The victim is visually impaired and legally blind.
After further investigation by members of the Henderson Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division, Vincent Morrison of 100 Cedar Lane in Stovall, North Carolina was arrested and charged with common law robbery, second degree kidnapping, assault by strangulation, and assault on the handicapped.

Morrison was given a $100,000 secured bond and remains in the Granville County Jail pending an initial court appearance in Vance County.
Morrison is currently on active probation in Vance County.
