On July 25, 2010 around 12:22 a.m. officers with the Henderson Police Department responded to the Mexican Pool Room at 1109 Old Norlina Road in Henderson, North Carolina in reference to a person that had been shot.
Upon arrival, officers found the victim, Jose Verdine, 20, of 795 Dabney Road in Henderson, North Carolina deceased from a gunshot wound in the parking lot of the establishment.
Members of the Criminal Investigations Division are continuing the investigation.
