Bleeding hand tips HPD to B&E suspect


On January 22, 2011 around 11:36 p.m. members of the Henderson Police Department Patrol Division arrested and charged Roy Marshall Williams, 33, of 349 Stewart Farm Road in Henderson, North Carolina with misdemeanor breaking and entering and property damage.

Williams was arrested by officers after being seen behind the residence of 964 Burr Street Henderson. Officers stopped Williams and noticed that he had been cut and had blood dripping from his hand. Other officers checked the residences in the area in which Williams was seen and located scene of the breaking and entering at 964 Burr Street in Henderson.

The residence of 964 Burr Street is vacant and belongs to the Rogers Group.

Williams received a $1,000 secured bond pending a court hearing on February 10, 2011.
