Tyrelle Octavious Benson, 17, of 7969 NC 39 North, Henderson, NC
On August 11, 2011 members of the Henderson Police Department Major Crimes Unit arrested and charged Tyrelle Octavious Benson, 17, of 7969 NC 39 North, Henderson, NC with robbery with a dangerous weapon and felony probation violation. Mr. Benson was given a $60,000 secured bond pending a court hearing on August 29, 2011.
Mr. Benson’s charges were related to the July 18, 2011 robbery of Ulysses Clements Jr that occurred in the parking lot of Party Pickup, 655 N. Garnett Street, Henderson. During the robbery Mr. Benson was reported to have used a handgun to remove an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency from Mr. Clements Jr.
