It started out raining but soon cleared up to allow hundreds of people enjoy downtown activities on Saturday. Beckenridge street was turned in to a children’s playground with booths setup from area businesses and organizations. Moonwalks, face painting, rubber duck painting, all sorts of fun. Nearly 2000 ducks were raced down Garnett Street Saturday afternoon, benefiting the Franklin Granville Vance Smart Start organization.
