5 Youths Charged In Recent Breaking and Enterings


On October 17, 2011 and October 18, 2011 members of the Henderson Police Department arrested 5 individuals, age 18 to 13 for robberies in the area.

Raphael Drumgold

Raphael Drumgold, 18, of 139 Hamilton Street, Henderson, NC is charged with Felony Breaking and Entering and Felony Larceny for residences of 5 Ranes Drive,  1211 Parham Street and 2511 Sims Avenue.  He received a $60,000 secured bond pending a court hearing on November 14, 2011.


Christopher Hunt


Christopher Hunt, 18, of 616 Mcborne Street, Henderson, NC is charged with Felony Conspire to Break/Enter with Intent to Commit Felony for residence at 5 Ranes Drive.  He received a $10,000 secure bond pending a court hearing on November 14, 2011.


Jayequan Tunstall


Jayequan Tunstall, 17, of 84 Ranes Drive, Henderson, NC is charged with Felony Breaking and Entering, Felony Larceny, Possession Stolen Goods, and Injury to Real Property for residence at 5 Ranes Drive.  He received a $30,000 secured bond pending a court hearing on November 14, 2011.


A 15 year-old male is charged with Felony Breaking and Entering at 5 Ranes Drive, 907 Avis Lane and 1208 Shirley Drive.

A 13 year-old male is charged with Felony Breaking and Entering and Felony Possession of Stolen Goods at 1208 Shirley Drive and Felony Breaking and Entering, Felony Possession of Stolen Goods and Misdemeanor Property Damage at 907 Avis Lane.

The arrests on October 17, 2011 at 5 Ranes Drive were the result of a concerned citizen’s call to 911, witnessing the breaking and entering in progress at that residence. Officers responded to the area and gained information that the suspects were located at 84 Ranes Drive. Drumgold, Hunt, and a 15 year-old male were apprehended and charged with the breaking and entering.

The incident at 907 Avis Lane occurred on August 11, 2011; the incident at 1208 Shirley Drive occurred on August 21, 2011; and the incident at 1211 Parham Street occurred on August 24, 2011.

The investigation was conducted by members of the Henderson Police Department General Crimes Unit.
