On October 17, 2011 and October 18, 2011 members of the Henderson Police Department arrested 5 individuals, age 18 to 13 for robberies in the area.

Raphael Drumgold, 18, of 139 Hamilton Street, Henderson, NC is charged with Felony Breaking and Entering and Felony Larceny for residences of 5 Ranes Drive, 1211 Parham Street and 2511 Sims Avenue. He received a $60,000 secured bond pending a court hearing on November 14, 2011.
Christopher Hunt
Christopher Hunt, 18, of 616 Mcborne Street, Henderson, NC is charged with Felony Conspire to Break/Enter with Intent to Commit Felony for residence at 5 Ranes Drive. He received a $10,000 secure bond pending a court hearing on November 14, 2011.
Jayequan Tunstall
Jayequan Tunstall, 17, of 84 Ranes Drive, Henderson, NC is charged with Felony Breaking and Entering, Felony Larceny, Possession Stolen Goods, and Injury to Real Property for residence at 5 Ranes Drive. He received a $30,000 secured bond pending a court hearing on November 14, 2011.
A 15 year-old male is charged with Felony Breaking and Entering at 5 Ranes Drive, 907 Avis Lane and 1208 Shirley Drive.
A 13 year-old male is charged with Felony Breaking and Entering and Felony Possession of Stolen Goods at 1208 Shirley Drive and Felony Breaking and Entering, Felony Possession of Stolen Goods and Misdemeanor Property Damage at 907 Avis Lane.
The arrests on October 17, 2011 at 5 Ranes Drive were the result of a concerned citizen’s call to 911, witnessing the breaking and entering in progress at that residence. Officers responded to the area and gained information that the suspects were located at 84 Ranes Drive. Drumgold, Hunt, and a 15 year-old male were apprehended and charged with the breaking and entering.
The incident at 907 Avis Lane occurred on August 11, 2011; the incident at 1208 Shirley Drive occurred on August 21, 2011; and the incident at 1211 Parham Street occurred on August 24, 2011.
The investigation was conducted by members of the Henderson Police Department General Crimes Unit.

Maybe JAM252 is someone’s bud using a school issued laptop to sing their praise of these five thugs. Maybe JAM252 is just expressing their relief of not being arrested this time. Maybe JAM252 will help the grandmother or auntie of these thugs to post bail money after selling other peoples stuff.
JAM252, white or black or yellow or green — a CRIMINAL IS A LOSER. I’m tired of the “giving them a chance” BS. It’s time to call garbage exactly what it is — garbage. They get respect when they begin to act like decent citizens. Criminals are not decent citizens. The crime numbers for Henderson speaks volumes and it’s time to put a stop to it and a stop to being “understanding.” That is doing nothing but increasing our crime.
Why do you need to know them to comment on their actions, I am so sick of hearing that line of bull. Why dont we blame it on the bad economy, they had to do it to survive, or maybe that henderson does not have enough activities for them to do. You know easier to blame someone or something else instead of yourself for your actions, which in my opinion is the real problem today.
All these little thugs do is victimize folks and cry the blues when caught. One day these children will break into the wrong place and they will see HOW THE HOMEOWNER ROLLS and that is just a shame.

This is a prime example of some of the issues we have locally today. If someone was sticking up for me and using language like yours then I would perfer they keep their hands off the keyboard. JAM252, you claim to have attended college. Care to elaborate? You might say something like this, at Shaw football was my only required class. Then we can ask why you are still here. You can reply something like this, after four years at Shaw and twelve years in Vance County schools I never learned to read, write, or count beyond my toes and fingers so no NFL team wanted me. Then we can understand how you earned you degree in criminal justice, from practical life lessons.
Please crawl back into the confines of your government paid housing and return the school issued laptop neither the 13 nor 15 year old will ever need them for school purposes they followed your example.
This is so sad. Perfect example of kids with parents who either sell dope or just don’t care! They all are in so-called gangs whom terrorize the neighborhoods and make it to where you have to lock everything up. I remember growing up in South Henderson, we didn’t hardly ever have to lock our car doors etc. Now you really need to almost park your car in your own house in order to keep it and not have it torn up or broken into. It’s no excuse for this type of behavior. I do agree the parents may have tried to raise them right and the kids just didn’t listen. But nine times out of ten the parents could care less and that’s why they are doing the things they do. It’s a household up the street from me where the kids are in gangs and the parent or parents know about it and actually condone it!! It’s sad and I just hope my kids continue on the path they are on and go to college and do something with themself and get out of this town! I know my kids have two parents that care and that discipline them to prevent them from becoming this type of trash you see here. It’s a disgrace and when someone like Jam252 comes to take up for them it really shows the type of people who do condone and make excuses for these THUGS and THIEVES
