Event to raise awareness & funding for Youth Programs in Vance County. Local businessmen, Pastors, former athletes, community leaders, and other members of the Vance County community will be donating money for effective Youth Services in Vance County, but it will be in an unusual form — that of a bail bond.
Connections 4 Real, Inc. will hold its “Cuff’s for a Cause – Charity Lock Up” event on Saturday, April, 21, 2012 from 10am-4pm. The event will be held at the Jameson Inn of Henderson, NC.
Several participants who have volunteered ahead of time will be “arrested” and escorted by Volunteer Policemen. Connection 4 Real volunteer Officials will escort participants to a designated “holding cell”, where they will have their mug shots taken and be restrained until they raise enough money to bail them out of jail.
