NC Humane Society Hosts Meeting To Discuss Animal Welfare

Are you an Animal Advocate?  Join the North Carolina Director of the Humane Society of the United States, NC Voters for Animal Welfare, Susie’s Law and other animal advocates in a grass roots meeting to discuss current issues affecting animals, as well as what we can do to improve the lives of animals in Vance County.  Local officials have been invited.

This is a rare opportunity to discuss everything from sheltering animals to puppy mills, pit bull and cock fighting to transporting rescue animals and trap=neuter return of feral cats.  Come prepared to discuss your passion.

Focus will be on our community and the issues facing the animals within it.

This event will be at the Maria Parham Medical Center Auditorium on Tuesday, May 1st, 2012 from 6:30pm to 8:30pm
