At the UN this morning Obama says the Libya Embassy attack was against all in the nations in the UN. In my opinion it was a direct assault on USA–and don’t hold your breath if you think the UN will come to our aid.
Speeches change according the audience and the way the wind is blowing.
So Romney wants windows on airplanes to roll down!
At a fund raiser Romney said, “When you have a fire in an aircraft, there’s no place to go, exactly, there’s no — and you can’t find any oxygen from outside the aircraft to get in the aircraft, because the windows don’t open. I don’t know why they don’t do that. It’s a real problem. So it’s very dangerous.” [Yahoo news is the source for that statement.]
One must wonder just what he really understands and what is truly beyond his mental capacity.
Left Field, Sure, everybody knows Romney has low intelligence, his life resume proves it. Compared to our President, with his stellar school records and list of accomplishments, who is sure there are 57 states!
Is the truth what you dislike?
He said it. Just like he said 47% of Americans are not worthy and he does not intend to help them.
A simple search with the single word romney displays numerous sources for the statement about wanting roll down windows on an airplane.
Jon Stewart Wonders If Romney Is Getting Dumber
Barack Obama must be the luckiest dude on the planet, Jon Stewart said last night on , because something is happening to Mitt Romney: He is getting dumber and dumber as the election goes on.
For example, at the start of the campaign, Romney touted a plan with 150 pages and 59 policy ideas to boost the economy. But then, just eight months later, Romney told people at a fundraiser that he would boost the economy just by getting elected president because it would raise confidence.
“This is the businessman candidate,” Stewart says. “He’s gone from having a 59-point economic plan to magic. Don’t worry, all this country needs is a little shot of vitamin Mitt. … It’s like he’s Charlie from Flowers for Algernon, and the serum is wearing off.”
Source for the above: The Atlantic Wire and posted to Yahoo News
Sure, left field, everyone thinks Romney is a dumb businessman. And Jon Stewart is a trust worthy news source. And President Obama is a brilliant historian who has lived up to every one of his promises from the last election. And it is all Bush’s fault!
Let the debates begin!
Dagny
You got all of that out of this:
“This is the businessman candidate. He’s gone from having a 59-point economic plan to magic. Don’t worry, all this country needs is a little shot of vitamin Mitt. … It’s like he’s Charlie from Flowers for Algernon, and the serum is wearing off.” Amazing!
Taken from the article Why Mitt Romney will always be a d**k:
You learn the most about someone by seeing how they overcome adversity. Yet Romney is one of those rare creatures that has never faced any. He was born rich and powerful, was a d**k in prep school (one of his friends described him as something out of Lord of the Flies), roughed it in college with Ann by selling stocks (which every downtrodden college student gets to do), then leveraged his daddy’s money and connections to build his business.
That’s why you never see people talking about what a great guy he is—because he isn’t. There’s nothing in his life history that paints him as a sympathetic figure because he’s never gone out of his way to help someone, and he’s never had to dig deep to overcome obstacles in his life. George W. Bush might’ve been born with a silver spoon in his mouth, but at least he engendered loyalty and love from his circle of friends. Romney doesn’t seem to have any.

anon3, an extremely crude and ugly post, no original thoughts of your own or facts, just cut and paste from some nasty lib blog. None of you guys can make your own arguments from your own brains, it is pathetic. I heard a whole bunch of folks talk about how great a guy Romney is at the convention and we all know he is a brilliant man and just because it is in the Dem playbook for all the little rats in the press to repeat over and over Romney is dumb and mean, Romney is dumb and mean, there are enough Americans with brains left that understand the truth of what a great man he is.
and out in left field, oh yes sir, a shot of vitamin Mitt will be wonderful. Since you live in a bubble and never come in contact with business people, you can’t comprehend that yes we are all waiting to see how the election turns out and it will be the end of a dark period if a successful businessman and patriotic American will become our next President. So Jon Stewart is 100% correct, blows your mind, doesn’t it?
“Bain Capital is an investment partnership which was formed to invest in startups and ongoing companies, then to take an active hand in managing them and, hopefully, five or eight years later, to HARVEST them at a significant profit.” Mitt Romney speaking in 1985 about Bain Capital.

To HARVEST means taking the crop and leaving the chaff that made the crop possible.
The workers and factories were the chaff that made the profit for Bain Capital. You need to look no further than Vance County to see the damage done by the crop HARVESTING of the likes of Bain Capital.
I cannot vote for Mitt Romney. It doesn’t matter that he built a business, or if he was governor of MA. I don’t care that no one likes him. The main fact is that he wears Magic Underwear. He believes that it protects him from Fire, Bullets and Evil Spirits. Anyone who TRULY believes this that an article of clothing he wears underneath his suits has some serious mental issue and I cannot vote for a person who believes this. I respect all religions and it is their personal choice in what someone believes. Although when it comes to political office and making decisions for millions of people across the USA, they do not have the proper frame of mind to make these decisions while they TRULY believe that the underwear they are wearing is ‘magical’ and will protect them.
