Thursday, we received the following release from Vance County Schools, which has since been changed to Closed
Vance County Public Schools Two-Hour Delay for Early College High School and School System Employees
Vance County Schools will operate on a two-hour delay tomorrow (Friday, January 18) at the Early College High School and for all school system staff members. The day is already scheduled as a teacher workday at all other schools, so no delay is needed for those students. The Funtastic Kids Club after school program, scheduled to be open tomorrow at Dabney Elementary School for enrolled elementary students who need child care, also will operate on a two-hour delay.
