Piedmont Triad Farmers Market to host 18th Annual Easter Egg Festival


GREENSBORO – The Piedmont Triad Farmers Market will host one of the largest Easter egg hunts in the area on Saturday, March 30. The 18th Annual Easter Egg Festival presented by 107.5 KZLis a free event featuring entertainment and activities for children of all ages, appearances by local mascots, a magic show and the Easter Bunny.

There will be three egg hunts held for children in specific age groups at the following times: ages 2 to 3 at 3 p.m., ages 4 to 6 at 3:20 p.m. and ages 7 to 10 at 3:40 p.m. There will be a few golden eggs in each hunt that include passes to Wet’n Wild Emerald Pointe.

Children should bring their own Easter basket for the egg hunt. Parents are encouraged to bring a camera for photos with the Easter Bunny as a photographer will not be provided.

The games and exhibitors will be set up from 1 to 4 p.m. in the first field to the left after you enter the farmers market. The Piedmont Triad Farmers Market is located on Sandy Ridge Road, exit 208 off Interstate 40.
