Registration for VGCC Summer term begins April 22

Summer curriculum classes at Vance-Granville Community College begin on May 16, and students can begin registration in April. The summer course schedule is now available on VGCC’s web site (www.vgcc.edu) by clicking on “VGCC Schedules” under the “Students” tab. New students must first apply for admission and attend an orientation session before registering, and returning students must meet with their advisors first.

Returning students can register online or at VGCC’s four campuses, starting on Monday, April 22. However, only those students who have earned 20 or more total credit hours will be able to register on April 22. Registration will be open to all new and returning students on Tuesday-Thursday, April 23-25, and later on Wednesday, May 15. Hours for in-person registration are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Students also have the option of registering for classes online through the WebAdvisor system from the start of registration through Monday, May 13.

Students may pay, verify payment or charge tuition and fees online through WebAdvisor (by Visa or MasterCard) or in person at the VGCC Business Office on Main Campus (or at the campus where they are enrolled) on the same days as registration. The Main Campus Business Office hours of operation during registration are 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Monday-Thursday, and 8 a.m. – 3 p.m. on Fridays. The payment deadline is Monday, May 13, at 5 p.m. if paying in person, or at midnight if paying through WebAdvisor.

During the summer term, many courses are offered on a self-supporting basis. Registration fees for self-supporting classes must be paid by all students. For more information, go to http://www.vgcc.edu/Schedules/Self-Supporting-Classes.pdf.

Anyone with questions about registration at Vance-Granville should contact the college’s Main Campus at (252) 492-2061 or visit any of the other campuses for more information.
