Perry Memorial Library Programs For April


A number of programs will take place at the Perry Memorial Library in April 2013

  • Basic Computer Skills Class.  A free class that is open to anyone who wants to learn more about computers.  April 8, 15, 22, and 29 at 6:30 p.m. in the library’s computer lab.
  • Knitting Club.  Drop in, learn all about knitting, and make some new friends.  April 8 and April 22 at 1 p.m. in the library’s board room.
  • Reading with Cleo.  Come meet Cleo the therapy dog.  Cleo loves to listen to children read.  April 9 at 4 p.m. in the Youth Services department.
  • Reading with a Ranger.  Come and hear stories from a forest ranger.  April 16 at 4 p.m. in the Youth Services department.
  • Teens & Tweens.  Fun and games for teens and those who are almost teens.  April 2, 9, 16, and 30 at 6:30 p.m. in the library’s Farm Bureau Room.
  • Mother Goose.  A fun and interactive experience for the pre-K crowd.  April 4, 11, 18, and 25 at 11 a.m.
  • Let’s Talk About It.  A book discussion program sponsored by the North Carolina Humanities Council and the Friends of the Perry Memorial Library. 
    April 4 and 18 at 7 p.m. in the library’s Farm Bureau Room.
  • Afternoon with an Author.  Meet author Marjorie Brame Bennett.  April 21
    at 2 p.m. in the library’s Farm Bureau Room.  Sponsored by the Friends of the Perry Memorial Library.
