Production begins Aug. 5 in the greater Wilmington area on a new Hallmark Hall of Fame presentation, Christmas in Conway. The film, which will premiere later this year on ABC, stars Mary-Louise Parker (Weeds, Red), who will play an ailing woman whose husband attempts to build a Ferris wheel in their backyard for the perfect Christmas present. Christmas in Conway is the seventh Hallmark Hall of Fame feature to shoot in the Wilmington region. Additionally, the production is the fifth Hallmark-related feature to film in the state since 2011.
