Get rid of all this kind of trash roaming the steets of Henderson and we might have a chance at becoming a decent place to live again.

Dazed and confused jailing people like this fool is bankrupting our cities, counties, and states. At least Colorado and Washington have the right idea. Tax the recreational usage of pot, problem solved. The real losers of legalized recreational pot, black market profiteers and American’s corporate prison business. The winners’ government treasuries and law enforcement.

  5. OILF and Publius are on the money( literally ). Besides the tax revenue generated, the clearing of the court dockets and the jails will save big bucks. What? we don’t want to legalize this drug. It will end the organized crime of pot smuggling, and encourage use for the medicinal purposes that are well documented. Haven’t heard of any prescriptions for alcohol, I guess its because it is for sale on every corner.

One thing for sure…..he may get more time for a drug conviction than Murdering someone…..that PUNK that killed David Perry at Joker’s Bar/Lounge only got 9-10 years in the NC Dept. of Corrections for blasting Mr. Perry with a shotgun and leaving him for dead…..is it the quality of the Police Work that gets brought out in Court or do the Courts not give a rat’s a-s about human life? I witnessed a Defense Atty. make a Sheriff Dept. look like a complete fool when he was questioning him on the stand in regards to his investigation. Witnessed it with my own 2 eyes. Either the police work was less than acceptable or the Defense Atty. was that good…….I believe it was the police work. Get these killers off the street and leave these low-level drug dealers alone b/c if the truth be known…..they are probably smoking more of the weed than they are selling. Go into any convenience store in Vance Co. and see just how many “blunt wraps” are sold……unless things have changed I don’t think they are rolling up cigarettes in the wraps.

  7. It is a sorry state of affairs when a murderer gets a lesser sentence than a small time pot dealer. I can hardly wait to see how many dislikes this comment gets.

Deception is a HE. What is wrong with Deception, maybe head injuries and drugs. He says he is a teacher in Granville County. Any questions why teacher tenures should be a concern for parents.

I always figured Deception to be a foul old bitter woman, forever scorned, empty and barren.
