The Vance County Community Foundation is hosting a Reverse Raffle fundraiser at the Henderson Country Club on Friday, May 9 at 6:30 p.m.
Top Winner will receive $5,000!
Every 5th ball drawn wins a prize!

$100 – Includes 1 raffle entry, and no entry to event (no dinner)
Only 124 tickets will be sold.

The event is the fourth Reverse Raffle held by the VCCF’s board of directors. Tickets are $150 and include dinner for two at the Henderson Country Club. Each ticket purchaser gets a chance to win $5000. Door prizes are also offered.
“This is a successful fundraiser for our community, with proceeds going into our endowment fund for annual grant giving,” said Patricia Newhouse, board chair. “We are excited that so many people have asked us when we’re having this event, and we expect to sell out of our allotment of 125 tickets. The chance to win $5000 is a big draw. And our local nonprofits are the true winners, since our proceeds go out in grants in the coming years.”
Board members are selling tickets. Board members include Newhouse, James Edwards, Fagan Goodwin, Tanya Evans, Missy Stewardson, Bebe Wester, Cece Leahy, Vanessa Jones, Brantley Pegram, Eva Brown, Kathy Caudle, Mayra Cabello, Gina Harris, Terri Hedrick, and Bonnie Howell. Tickets can also be purchased at Joel Cheatham Insurance and in the Marketing Department at Maria Parham Medical Center both in Henderson.
The Vance County Community Foundation is an affiliate of the North Carolina Community Foundation (NCCF). The Board oversees an annual grants process that begins March 28, when they accept grant requests from local nonprofits.
