On May 19th, 2014 at approximately 11:38 p.m, Henderson Police Department officers responded to 846 Vaughan St in reference to a stabbing. Upon arrival officers observed Dominque Edwards on the front porch. Edwards had a laceration on the right side of the stomach. Henderson Police are seeking Antavian Yancey, black male of 839 Vaughan Street as a person of interest in this case. B & E Larceny Case

On 4/30/2014, at approximately 2:07 p.m., Henderson Police Officers responded to 200 N. Cooper Dr. (Walmart) in reference to breaking and entering to an outbuilding and larceny of used batteries. Upon arrival, officers spoke with loss prevention employee Sterling Hunt. Hunt advised that there were used batteries stored in an outbuilding on the Walmart property and the batteries had been removed. Property Damage Case

On June 05, 2014 at 8:18 a.m. the Vance County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to a report of property damage at the Crossroads Christian School 583 Old County Home Road. Upon arrival Deputies talked to Angie Boyd and Jenny O’Steen who stated that sometime during the night someone had broken the glass out of the side door. Boyd stated that nothing was missing at this time.
