Advance tickets for NC State Fair go on sale at retail locations Oct. 2


RALEIGH – N.C. State Fair fans who want to save money on admission and rides can buy advance tickets at nine retail locations Oct. 2-16.

Admission tickets and ride sheets will be on sale at the following places:

  • N.C. Museum of History, 5 E. Edenton St., Raleigh, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. weekdays.
  • N.C. State Fairgrounds, Gate 9 off Trinity Road, Raleigh, 9 a.m.-6 p.m. daily.
  • State Farmers Market, 1201 Agriculture St., Raleigh, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. daily; ticket booth is located between the Farmers Building and Market Shoppes.
  • Triangle Town Center, lower level near the food court, 5959 Triangle Town Blvd., Raleigh, daily during mall hours.
  • Northgate Mall guest services desk, 1028 W. Club Blvd., Durham, daily during mall hours.
  • Holly Hill Mall guest services desk, 309 Huffman Mill Road, Burlington, daily during mall hours.
  • Clayton Corners Shopping Center, Jackson Hewitt Tax Services Office, 11641 U.S. Highway 70 West, Clayton, daily during center hours.
  • Lynn’s Hallmark Shop at Eastgate Shopping Center, 1800 E. Franklin St., Chapel Hill, daily during store hours.
  • Lynn’s Hallmark Shop at Heritage Crossing Shopping Center, 3401 Raleigh Parkway West, Wilson, daily during store hours.

All locations will accept cash, Visa and MasterCard. Ticket sales at Triangle Town Center, Northgate Mall, Holly Hill Mall, Clayton Corners and Lynn’s Hallmarks will close promptly at 6 p.m. Oct. 16.

Advance tickets also are available online at www.ncstatefair.org through Oct. 16.

People who buy tickets by Oct. 16 will save $2 per adult admission ticket and $8 on each sheet of ride tickets. Advance admission tickets cost $7 for adults and $3 for children ages 6-12. Adult admission tickets for groups of 40 or more are $5 and must be purchased during the advance-sales period. Ride sheets cost $10 in advance. Concert tickets must be purchased online; they will not be available at retail locations.

The N.C. State Fair will take place Oct. 16-26 at the State Fairgrounds.
