VGCC Warren Campus to host Business Credit Seminar

The Vance-Granville Community College Small Business Center, in partnership with the Chamber of Commerce of Warren County, has scheduled a free seminar, entitled “Understanding How to Access Credit and Capital for Your Small Business,” for Wednesday, Nov. 19, from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the college’s Warren County Campus in Warrenton.

A light breakfast will be provided by the Chamber of Commerce.

Williams will review the six basic principles many lenders use to make credit decisions and provide an overview of the resources available in North Carolina for small businesses. Finally, the seminar will cover the Rural Center’s Microenterprise Loan Program and provide details about its lending criteria and application process.

Seating is limited for this free seminar. For more information, contact Small Business Center director Tanya Weary at smallbusiness@vgcc.edu or (252) 738-3240. Registration can be completed online at www.ncsbc.net/center.aspx?center=75530.
