The office of Sen. Angela R. Bryant is currently seeking Page applicants for the the 2015 Long Session. The Senate Page Office will accept applications on a first-come, first-served basis. Each Senator can only select eight (8) Pages for the Long Session. Pages will be appointed to serve beginning Feb. 2nd and continuing to the end of June
To be eligible the Page must be at least 15 years of age or currently in the 9th – 12th grade in good standing. Prior approval must be granted by the principal if pages are appointed to serve during the school year.
Students who have not participated before will have the first choice.
The Page will be paid $150.00 for the week or elect to choose 30 hours of community service. Room, board and transportation to and from the General Assembly will be provided by an approved volunteer. There is a $100.00 charge. The Page would be required to report on Monday at 1:00pm and released on Thursday at approximately 3:30pm. The Page will be responsible for his/her own transportation to Raleigh on Monday and from Raleigh on Thursday. However, if transportation is needed to and from Raleigh, we will be willing to provide assistance if that is a barrier.
