Dr. Carrie Tulbert, North Carolina’s current Principal of the Year, visited Eaton-Johnson Middle School on November 4, as part of her promise to visit each of the schools of the fellow 2014-2015 regional principals of the year.

Dr. Larry Webb, the state’s Region 3 Principal of the Year, welcomed Tulbert to his school. Tulbert spent several hours at Eaton-Johnson as she toured the facility and met school staff members and students.

During her visit, Tulbert asked lots of questions and promised she would share the concerns and issues raised by local educators with officials at the state level. As the N.C. Principal of the Year, Tulbert serves on the N.C. State Board of Education.

Tulbert is the principal of Mooresville Middle School, located in Iredell County in the southwestern part of the state.
