SCHOOL EVENTS FOR THE WEEK

 
 

Western Vance High: (Monday, December 15) – School Improvement Team meeting at 3 p.m.

   
 

STEM Early High: (Tuesday, December 16) – PBIS Silent Auction and Assembly for student assistants

   
 

STEM Early High: (Wednesday, December 17) – Eighth-Grade Science Fair from 4 to 6 p.m. in the cafeteria at Northern Vance High

   
 

Eaton-Johnson Middle: (Thursday, December 18) – Show Choir performs for visiting elementary school students during the school day. The Show Choir, Chorus and Band perform in their Holiday Concert for parents, students and the community in the school’s gymnasium at 7 p.m.

   
 

Early College High: (Friday, December 19) – End of the first semester

   
 

Eaton-Johnson Middle: (Friday, December 19) – Chorus and Band perform their Holiday Concert for the student body in the school’s gymnasium

Thursday, January 8: Civics and Economics N.C. Final Exams and teacher made exams for second and fourth periods, along with make-up exams from previous day, at Northern Vance High and Southern Vance High. Regular school day with adjustments for exams.

Thursday, January 8: Students return to classes to begin second semester at Early College High School

Friday, January 9: American History 1 N.C. Final Exams, along with make-up exams from previous day, at Northern Vance High and Southern Vance High. Regular school day with adjustments for exams.

Monday, January 12: End-of-Course exams for first period, Math 1, Biology and all English II exams, along with make-up exams from the previous day, at Northern Vance High and Southern Vance High from 8 to 11:30 a.m. Students dismissed at 12:30 p.m. after lunch. First-period CTE Post Assessment and N.C. Final Exams from 12:30 to 3 p.m. for affected students at Northern Vance High and Southern Vance High.

Second-period CTE Post Assessment and N.C. Final Exams, along with make-up exams from previous day, from 12:30 to 3 p.m. for affected students at Northern Vance High and Southern Vance High.
