Arrests in Shooting Incident


On Thursday, January 22, 2015, members of the Henderson Police Department Criminal Investigation Unit and the Special Operations Unit arrested two individuals for their involvement in a recent shooting incident. On January 12, 2015, Kvon Fogg, 19, 1800 Julia Avenue was transported to Maria Parham Medical Center for treatment of gunshot wounds. Fogg was shot while standing on the parking lot of the China Kitchen located on East Andrews Avenue.

Patrick Lebraska McLeod, 27, 1465 Newton Dairy Road Lot 16, Henderson was charged with one count of attempted first degree murder and one count of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury. McLeod was placed in the Vance County Jail after failing to post a 200,000.00 secured bond.

Marcus Small

Marcus Jerome Small, 28, 121 Toney Lane, Henderson was charged with one count of attempted first degree murder and one count of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury. Small was placed in the Vance County Jail after failing to post a 150,000.00 secured bond.

The arrests were made after a Vance County Grand Jury returned true bills of indictment against McLeod and Small. Both defendants will appear in Vance County Superior Court during the February session.
