The application process for rising sixth graders to enter the STEM Early High School for the 2015-2016 school year has been extended to Friday, March 13.
Applications can be found on the Vance County Schools’ website at www.vcs.k12.nc.us. Information about the STEM Early High School and the application are attached.
Current fifth-grade students and/or their parents should turn in completed applications to their elementary school counselors. The counselors also have copies of the STEM applications. The applications require two teacher/administrator recommendations.
Students who apply will be notified of their status by April 3, 2015.
Administrators and staff members from the STEM Early High School will be visiting with fifth graders and their parents in local elementary schools to share information about the school and the application process.
