IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS

 
   

Report Cards are distributed on Tuesday.

 
   

Several local schools will observe Earth Day and Administrative Professionals’ Day on Wednesday.

 

 

 

No school on Friday for pre-kindergarten students. Teachers attend all-day staff development.

 

 

 

All fourth graders and their teachers attend a free concert on Friday featuring a violinist and other musicians at 1 p.m. at the Civic Center at Vance-Granville Community College. The concert is sponsored by the Henderson Community Concert Series Association.

Aycock Elementary: (Monday, April 20) – Representatives of the Poe Center visit with third graders at 9:45 a.m.

 
   

Dabney Elementary: (Monday, April 20) – Faculty meeting at 3:15 p.m.

 
   

L.B. Yancey Elementary: (Monday, April 20) – Treasures Trove Assembly at 1 p.m. and poster contest for grades 4-5

 
   

Zeb Vance Elementary: (Monday, April 20) – Color Block 1 and Leadership Team meeting at 3:15 p.m.

 
   

Aycock Elementary: (Tuesday, April 21) – Talent Show at 5 p.m. and PTA meeting at 6 p.m. with second graders performing

 
   

Dabney Elementary: (Tuesday, April 21) – Second graders participate in “Save Our Kids” water safety classes held at the Henderson Family YMCA.

 
   

Pinkston Street Elementary: (Tuesday, April 21) – Second graders participate in “Save Our Kids” water safety classes held at the Aycock Recreation Center.

 
   

L.B. Yancey Elementary: (Tuesday, April 21) – PTA meeting at 6 p.m. with visit by officers from the Henderson Police Department

 
   

E.O. Young Jr. Elementary: (Tuesday, April 21) – Girls on the Run program at 3:15 p.m.

 
   

Aycock Elementary: (Wednesday, April 22) – Aycock Stars assemblies at 9 a.m., 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Pre-kindergarten and kindergarten Aycock Stars and Extra Effort Kids go to Fox Pond Park. Girls on the Run and STRIDE at 3 p.m.

 
   

Dabney Elementary: (Wednesday, April 22) – Pre-kindergarten and Kindergarten registration event from 1 to 6 p.m.

 
   

Aycock Elementary: (Thursday, April 23) – Girls on the Run and STRIDE at 3 p.m.

 
   

Dabney Elementary: (Thursday, April 23) – Second graders participate in “Save Our Kids” water safety classes held at the Henderson Family YMCA
