WASHINGTON, DC – Today, Congressman G. K. Butterfield, Chair of the Congressional Black Caucus, sent a letter to Baltimore City Fraternal Order of Police President Gene Ryan urging him to reconsider his comments regarding Baltimore City State’s Attorney Marilyn Mosby’s handling of the Freddie Gray case. What’s wrong with POLICE in the USA? It seems like every week a COP has killed another person…lately its been Black Males getting killed by white COPS. South Carolina, New York, California, Missouri& Baltimore are the latest. I find it “interesting” that 6 COPS have been charged in Baltimore. A quick look @ local POLICE shows that Warren & Vance counties have Black Sheriffs. Oxford has a Black POLICE Chief……is this why you don’t have this problem around here?
If you’ve ever been harassed by POLICE you are probably not in the minority. Seems as if some COPS think their badge turns them into RoboCOP….Those of you who have been harassed by them know exactly what I mean.
I’ve no problems with Henderson cops. They’re not very competent, but you get what you pay for.
