A ribbon cutting was held for Quilt Lizzy to celebrate their current expansion efforts and new membership with the Henderson-Vance Chamber of Commerce on June 30th.  The business is located at 110 East Macon Street in Warrenton.

Starting in 2011 as what she thought would be a quilt-finishing shop, owner Susan Harris opened the storefront as a longarm studio to offer quilting supplies and complement her online business.  However, Quilt Lizzy has become a destination quilt shop bringing customers to Warrenton from across the state.  Because of this success, Harris is expanding to a second location at 115 E. Market Street.  The new location as well as a third now being added to the mix, will become the Quilt Lizzy Training Campus and will include multiple classrooms offering quilting workshops with high-tech video projection to assist in instruction.

Quilt Lizzy was named the 2014 Small Business of the Year by the Warren County Chamber of Commerce.  To contact Quilt Lizzy, call 252-257-7117 or see them on the web at www.quiltlizzy.com.  They are open Tuesday – Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm.
