  Staff development sessions district wide in various locations on Monday.

 

 

 

?

  Workshop for elementary cafeteria managers and elementary cashiers on Tuesday

  from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

 

 

 

?

  Meeting for all bus drivers and bus monitors at Clarke Elementary in the multipurpose

  room on Wednesday from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Workshop for middle and high school

  cafeteria managers and middle and high school cashiers at Clarke Elementary in the

  cafeteria on Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

  Medicaid billing training for related service personnel in the Administrative Services

  Center computer lab on Thursday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. A meeting with all cafeteria

  staff members across the district in the Southern Vance High cafeteria on Thursday

  from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

 

 

 

?

  Open House at all schools on Thursday from 3 to 7 p.m.

 

 

 

?

  Teacher workday on Friday. Workshop for cafeteria managers at Clarke Elementary in

  the cafeteria from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Northern Vance High:  (Monday, August 17) – “Meet the Superintendent” floating reception for all parents, students, school system staff members and local residents from 5 to 7 p.m. in the cafeteria

Southern Vance High: (Wednesday, August 19) – “Meet the Superintendent” floating reception for all parents, students, school system staff members and local residents from 5 to 7 p.m. in the cafeteria

 

 

 

 

UPCOMING SCHOOL EVENTS

Monday, August 24: Students return to classes, except at Early College High, to begin the new school year

 

 

?

Monday, September 7: Labor Day holiday. All schools and school system offices are closed.

 

 

?

Friday, September 11: Interim Progress Reports distributed in high schools

 

 

?

Wednesday, September 16: Early release day for students due to staff development sessions in the afternoon. Elementary and high schools dismiss at 12 p.m. and middle schools dismiss at 12:15 p.m. The STEM Early High dismisses at 11:45 a.m.

 

 

?

Tuesday, September 22: Student led conferences with parents at Early College High from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. during which students will explain their first six-week grades to parents. Pizza will be provided.

 

 

?

Wednesday, September 23: Interim Progress Reports are distributed in middle schools

 

 

 

 

FALL ATHLETIC EVENTS
Northern Vance and Southern Vance Football Admission is $6.00.

Soccer Admission is $5.00 and Wrestling Admission is $5.00.

Admission for Tennis is free.

Eaton-Johnson and Henderson Middle Football Admission is $5.00.

Soccer and Wrestling Admission is $5.00.
