On Monday, November 9, 2015, Henderson Police Officers arrested Derrick Darnell Hanks Jr. Hanks, 24, 197 Big Ruin Creek Lane, Henderson was charged with the following offenses: Carrying a concealed weapon, possession with the intent to manufacture, sell, or deliver marijuana, maintaining a vehicle for keeping/selling controlled substances, felonious possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Hanks was placed in the Vance County Jail after failing to post a 25,000.00 secured bond. A preliminary hearing has been scheduled in Vance County District Court.
