Henderson City Hall will be closed:
Christmas – December 23, 24 and 25, 2015. (Wednesday – Friday)
New Years Day – Friday, January 1, 2016
The City of Henderson Public Services Department Sanitation Division will follow the schedule below for the December holiday schedule.
Sanitation-Brush and Recycling by the City
December-24th Christmas Eve will be collected on Wednesday December 23rd
December-25th Christmas Day-collection will be on Thursday December 24th & – No recycling this week
Garbage Collection-Waste Industries
December-25th Christmas Day-collection will be on Saturday December 26th
Loose leaf collection started the week of October 26th, 2015 on a limited basis and is increasing as needed as the accumulation of leaves become heavier. Loose leaves should be placed in rows or piles at the roadside. Leaves shall not be placed in the gutter or street area or in an open ditch. Loose leaves must be leaves only and not contain any broken glass, rocks, large sticks or other debris that could cause severe damage to the leaf collection equipment.
