A ribbon cutting was held on February 23rd for Kerr Lake Cornhole & Vinyl Graphics to celebrate the company’s membership with the Chamber and business growth at their location on 430 S. Garnett Street in Downtown Henderson.  Family, chamber staff and local dignitary and businesses joined them in their celebration.

Anthony and Gail Hatchel are the owners of Kerr Lake Cornhole & Vinyl Graphics (430 S. Garnett Street, Henderson), a business that builds custom sets of the bean bag game.  The game is much like horseshoes.  Team members stand on opposite ends of a 27-foot-long field and take turns tossing four bean bags filled with dried corn seeds at each other’s tilted board. Landing a bag on the platform earns a single point. Getting a bag through a small hole carved in the platform earns three.

Kerr Lake Cornhole & Graphics is the only local Retail Cornhole Shop, serving customers from the Outer Banks to Tennessee, to Virginia.  Their furthest order came from California, in which Gail personally designed a Silverback Gorilla and a Pineapple Hula-Dancing Lady on a custom set of cornhole boards.  They offer really great boards and awesome customer service at this business. They are a family-owned Christian business that believes in reasonable prices for the community.  The boards meet tournament standards set by the American Cornhole Association.

The business has been in operation for 5 years. Recently, they expanded their business to a permanent store inside the Raleigh Flea Market on Saturday and Sunday, and a third location in Emporia, VA.  After receiving an overwhelming number of orders, and expecting an even larger demand in the near future, the family is considering moving to a new larger location in Henderson and adding a fourth location in Myrtle Beach for 2016.

With their 54″ Vinyl Printer, they also print banners, signs, vehicle magnets, removable wall stickers, car wraps, car graphics, lettering and graphics & more!

Their hours are Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm and most Saturdays during peak season.

Kerr Lake Cornhole & Vinyl Graphics is located in Downtown Henderson.  Look for their cornhole boards sitting outside or call the shop at 252-430-7144.
