NVHS Soccer Earns Academic Award

The Northern Vance High School men’s soccer team for the seventh consecutive year received a High School Team Academic Award from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) with the fourth highest grade point average among the 152 teams receiving national recognition for the award for the 2014-2015 school year. 
The team’s overall grade point average was 4.11.

The NSCAA annually recognizes high school soccer programs that have excelled in the classroom in addition to their work on the field. A total of 401 soccer teams (152 men’s and 249 women’s) from throughout the United States have earned the NSCAA Team Academic Award for exemplary performance in the classroom as a team during the 2014-2015 academic year.
