Here’s your chance to attend a free event in the new McGregor Hall Performing Arts Center in Downtown Henderson, NC.
Ballet Arts, also based in Downtown Henderson, is holding their annual recital this Saturday (June 4th) at McGregor Hall. “Let’s Go To The Movies” Show Times broken up into age groups, with the younger kids first and older kids later. Show times are: 12:45p.m., 2:30p.m., 6:15p.m. and 7:00p.m. There is no charge for admission. Ballet Arts is beyond thrilled to be performing in this beautiful, new facility in downtown Henderson!
it was my understanding that the Performing Arts Center was a money generating facility. What a surprise –or has the Ballet Arts paid for the use of the space. In my opinion the Arts Center needs to get busy booking some more shows.
it is interesting that a for profit business might get use of the facility for no charge, if that indeed is the case. of course the devil is in the details, for example, they may be paying for utilities that day, or some other low cost use w/out having to raise additional funds by charging for the event. After all, they are beyond thrilled!
I’m sure Ballet Arts is paying for the facility rental. This article just says free admission to the public. Where did any of you get that that it’s being given for free? Good on Ballet Arts for moving their annual recital to Henderson instead of going to Louisburg. McGregor hall does have regular programs, most of them are not for the public. They only advertise the ones they themselves sell tickets for shows. You can get tickets for the manhattans, sandi patti, and keb mo right now.
seriously, how can anyone talk bad about what they’re offering to the community?
