Oxford Prep Claims First Varsity Baseball Conference Championship
With the regular season over, the Griffins finished 14-10 overall and 11-1 in conference play, clinching their very first baseball conference championship. Vance-Granville Community College is now accepting applications from incoming first-year students for the “Summer Bridge” program. Summer Bridge is a three-week program designed to enhance a student’s transition from high school to college and prepare them to be successful during their freshman year at VGCC. The N.C. Department of Transportation will hold two informal public meetings next week regarding the I-85 improvements project underway in Vance and Warren counties. NCDOT Converting Intersection in Franklin County to All-Way Stop on Thursday
The intersection of Williams White Road and Pilot-Riley Road north of Zebulon in Franklin County is being switched to a permanent all-way stop intersection on Thursday, March 2, weather permitting.
