Please be advised that the County’s Public Safety Committee is scheduled to meet Monday, February 6 at 5:00 p.m., and the Human Resources Committee will meet at 5:30 p.m. the same day. Both will be in the County Manager’s Office.

Please be informed that the County’s Public Safety Committee is scheduled to meet Tuesday, January 31 at 4:00 p.m. in the County Manager’s Office. The Committee will discuss the animal shelter and the back-up 911 center.

The County’s Public Safety Committee is scheduled to meet with the County Firemen’s Association on Tuesday, January 17 at 7:00 p.m. at the Vance County Rescue Squad Building on Maynard Street. The purpose is to discuss budget preparations.

Vance County Board of Commissioners and Water Board will meet January 9, 2012 for a meeting.  Topics include: Brian Short’s update on the Backup PSAD and bid award.  Including information regarding about $80,000 worth of new furniture equipment for the existing 911 operation with Russ Bassett getting the recommended vendor status.
