Boil Water Advisory Lifted
As of 8:00 am Wednesday June 7th, 2017, the Kerr Lake Regional Water System no longer requires boiling of water before consumption. Users of the water system may now use water without conservation or boiling of water.
Water Restrictions Lifted
The Kerr Lake Regional Water System is now pumping finished water at its normal rate. Mandatory water conservation has been lifted; however the boil water advisory for human consumption is in effect until further notice. Based on the continual investigation of the problem it appears that the cause of the pump run failure is a malfunction of the SCADA (supervisory control and data acquisition) system.
