March 15, 2017 @ 10:00 am - 8:00 pm
FreeEvent Navigation
Red Cross volunteers serve our neighbors in need every day. They’re on the scene of home fires. They’re assisting life-saving blood donors. They’re working with military members and veterans.
Use your time and talent to change a life by becoming a Red Cross volunteer. Learn about available volunteer opportunities in the Central North Carolina Chapter at our Red Cross Open House on March 15.
Open to the public to learn more about becoming a Red Cross volunteer! Enjoy refreshments and sign up to help your community! Volunteers make up 90 percent of the Red Cross workforce. These volunteers represent a variety of age groups and skill sets. The Red Cross also provides free training to its volunteers, and volunteers can set flexible schedules.
At the event, you’ll meet terrific volunteers like Linda Weaver. Linda joined the Red Cross because her husband was a recipient of life-saving Red Cross blood.
