On April 27, 2007, members of the Interagency Drug Enforcement Unit and detectives from the Henderson Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division worked a special assignment.
The assignment was to target problem areas in the designated “Weed and Seed” areas of the City.
The operation was to proactively target and and all criminal activity in the designated areas. The individuals below were arrested as a result of these activities.
William McKinley Terry, 24, of 549 Pettigrew Street in Henderson was charged with possession of cocaine. His bond was set at $5,000. His court date is June 18 of this year.
Kyle Norvel Shearin, 20, of 287 Gholson Avenue in Henderson was charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. His bond was set at $10,000 and his court date is also June 18.
Jermaine Bullock, 31, of 1012 Standish Street in Henderson was served with a warrant for failure to appear. His bond was set at $300.
Jermaine Williams, 23, of 433 Alexander Avenue in Henderson was charged with breaking and entering, larceny, and possession of stolen goods. His bond was set at $30,000 and his court date is May 21, 2007.
Williams was stopped and questioned after he was observed carrying a large object in a trash bag while walking on Mason Street. Officers found Williams in possession of a computer and other items.
After further investigation, officers determined that prior to Williams being stopped by officers, he had broken into the Purolator warehouse on Old Epsom Road.
Williams was detained and charged. A computer and other office items valued at approximately $2000 were recovered.
