Home in Henderson learned this morning that George Daye filed for the Ward 4 at-large seat at the close of business yesterday. He will challenge Ranger Wilkerson for that position.

This morning Michael Inscoe filed for the Ward 2 at-large seat. He will challenge Lynn Harper for that seat.

Ruth Nance filed today for Middleburg Town Council.

Henderson City Council member Lonnie Davis stated his intention to file for re-election with the Vance County Board of Elections. However, he did not file by 4:45 p.m. today.
