Blood drive at Pegram Agency Friday
There will be a Vance County American Red Cross blood drive at the Pegram Agency on Ruin Creek Road from 2:00 until 6:30 p.m. on Friday, February 29, 2008. All blood types are needed. Please consider giving the gift of life.

As a ignorant “transplant”, I didn’t know what I was getting into when I agreed to run the story of the murder of Alice Burgess and her family’s quest for justice and closure. City Manager Ed Wyatt prefaced remarks by City Engineer Frank Frazier and Public Works Director Linda Leyen by stating that he is aware of the “political sensitivity” of changes to sanitation services.
