Bennett H. Perry Archaeology Day

The Bennett H. Perry Archaeology Day event will be held at Perry Library on Breckenridge Street in downtown Henderson November 19, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Admission is free to everyone.
The event will feature over 60 tables of arrowheads and Indian artifacts. Dr. Stephen Davis of UNC Anthropology, will speak on his research on the Catawba with a video presentation at 1 p.m. in McGregor Hall.
Demonstrations of Native weaponry manufacturing and use also will be held. Free artifact identification will be available.
The event is being sponsored by the Piedmont N.C. Chapter of the Authentic Artifact Collectors Association in conjunction with the Henderson Rotary Club and Perry Library.
This promises to be a great learning experience for youths and adults!
