What better way to kick off graduation week in Vance County than with a bit of prayer? That’s what Kerr-Vance Academy’s graduating class will do during its baccalaureate at 2 p.m. at the Episcopal Church of the Holy Innocents on Chestnut Street. We’re told it’s a moving, meaningful event, although given that confession is good for the soul, we have to make one: We still regret skipping our own baccalaureate all those years ago.
For those of you planning your caps-and-gowns viewing, here’s the graduation schedule: Western Vance, Friday at 7 p.m.; Northern Vance, Saturday at 9 a.m.; KVA, Saturday at 10 a.m.; and Southern Vance, Saturday at noon.
