Home in Henderson makes business debut

Home in Henderson, Inc. made its debut into the Henderson business community on Wednesday in a ribbon-cutting ceremony and the Henderson-Vance Chamber of Commerce.

The corporation, which was formed in July of this year, publishes the news blog Home in Henderson, founded by former Daily Dispatch news editor Michael Jacobs on February 1, 2005.

From its humble beginnings as a not-for-profit hobby, Home in Henderson boasts approximately 24,000 visits by over 4,000 unique IP addresses for the month of August alone.

Jason Feingold, president of Home in Henderson, Inc. and current editor of the blog was present to cut the ribbon on behalf of the new business.

Also on hand to celebrate the opening of the corporation were Henderson City Council members Bobby Gupton, Lynn Harper, and Elissa Yount. Several business owners and Chamber members were also in attendance, as well as readers and supporters of the blog from many different walks of Henderson life.
